Caligula - 'The Illusionist'

When you seek to create an illusion around the web you weave, you had better take care.
I offer you these words:
1) There will be someone who sees through and spots the fly, however thinly disguised the gossamer web might be it will always shimmer, the fly will be exposed. Despite your best efforts to conceal the morsel affixed to the web and keep it all for yourself, it will be exposed. The fly will be apparent and it will be open to other predators to devour. Whatever illusion you have tried to construct will be apparent
2) Little clues and snippets of information appear which begin to expose your real motives and show your vulnerable points
3) Your illusion will come to light, you delude none but yourself
4) Your truths and falsehoods exposed, people will 'twig', they will see through it all.
5) In this case, your own personal statements to Martha and I opened it up. We didn't connect the links soon enough. But we have now.
6) That is why you have left no escape route, no exit strategy for yourself
7) In bocca al lupo, 'Crepi il lupo!!' say I
